Famille Plus resorts

Savoie Mont Blanc pampers families

There are 20 resorts in the Savoie and Haute Savoie mountains that boast the Famille Plus (Family Plus) label. Easily identifiable thanks to the logo, they put the accent on quality and a warm welcome for the satisfaction of families and their children.

Why a label?

The Famille Plus label aims to set standards for the welcome and services provided to families. It is a French national label for all tourist areas (the coast, mountains, countryside or cities) and is known as Famille Plus Montagne in winter sports resorts.

Today, there are 20 Famille Plus Montagne labelled resorts in Savoie Mont Blanc.

A label with a quality charter

To obtain the Famille Plus Montagne label, the resorts must satisfy criteria for six main themes:

- Welcome and information
- Resort events
- Activities
- Discovering the environment and heritage
- Accommodation and restaurants
- Facilities, transports and safety

To find the list of "Famille Plus" labelled resorts in Savoie Mont Blanc, click here and then tick the box "ski runs" and logo "Ski Famille"

Did you know?

Famille Plus was created on the impetus of three associations of elected representatives* and the French Tourism Ministry. This national approach to welcoming families on holiday follows in the footsteps of the "P'tits Montagnards" (little mountaineers) label, set up by the Association Nationale des Maires des Stations de Montagne (national association of mountain resort mayors), in 1998.

*Association Nationale des Maires des Stations Classées et Communes Touristiques (ANMSCCT - national association of listed resort and tourist town mayors) - Association Nationale des Maires des Stations de Montagne (ANMSM/Ski France - national association of mountain resort mayors) - Fédération des Stations Vertes de Vacances et Villages de Neige (federation of rural holiday resorts and snow villages).

To obtain the label, a resort must belong to one of the above associations.
